Young People First Group
Meets on a regular basis for social activities – going out for meals, bowling, theatre and cinema visits. This group is for members aged 18 – 25 with administrative support available from The Powys People First Office.
Social Activities Group
This group is for all members of Powys People First to meet for social activities. Recently we had a gathering in The George in Brecon.
Theatr Wildcats is an inclusive theatre company that uses Drama to get people’s voices heard. They meet every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at Theatr Brycheiniog in Brecon.
The group meet every other month in Llandrindod. Members from all over Powys meet to discuss and act on issues that affect people with learning disabilities.
We are running a pilot project in South Powys involving outdoor activities and healthy living. Welshpool People First have taken on an allotment.
